17/0800Z for the monitoring of smoke across the Upper
Midwest/Great Lakes region and severe weather over northern
Minnesota and North Dakota.

GOES-E MDS Sector 2 will be centered over 31.8N/99.3W until
18/1200Z in support of excessive rainfall and flooding operations
in Texas.

GOES-W MDS Sector 2 will be centered over 42N/116W until 17/1200Z
in support of severe weather operations across the northern
Rockies.

GOES-19 DCS and SAR operations resumed at 1630Z. Engineers are
currently working to restore the ABI, with imaging expected to
resume by 1900Z. Please note that image navigation may be
slightly degraded during the first hour of operation. The GOES-19
instruments will be restored in the following order: ABI, GLM,
SUVI, and CCOR-1/EXIS/MAG/SEISS.
