The earlier problem with NGITWS and SPOT latencies have been resolved following reverting a change in which DAFS data start being ingested into NGITWS and a failover of NGITWS from College Park to Boulder. SPOT forecast requests submitted from ~1930Z-~2300Z today were likely delayed in processing. If any short-fuse and/or urgent requests are still missing, they should be resubmitted. Since the ingest of DAFS data into NGITWS was disabled, the equivalent RAP products were reenabled until the root cause of the DAFS implementation issue can be determined. Furthermore, DAFS data is still available through alternate sources, such as NOMADS. NCO support teams determined that the latencies were related to an earlier implementation of DAFS data to NGITWS. The routing of DAFS data to its new location on NGITWS has been disabled for now.
