Critical Weather Day Has Been Declared


START: 1630Z Wed May 22 2019
END: 0000Z Tue May 28 2019

WHO: NCEP, NWSTG, NCF, Central Region, and Southern Region

REASON: Moderate risk of severe weather and moderate risk of excessive rainfall across portions of MO, KS, and OK.


UPDATE :CWD has been extended until 0000Z May 28.
This is due to a multi-day svr wx and excessive rainfall threat over the Central U.S.
as well as providing Indy 500 support this weekend.
Central Region will participate until 28/00Z
