Version 1.2 Changes

  • cleaned up declarations for "field" variable
  

Version 1.3 Changes

  • enabled decoding of report day (interface mnemonic DAYS) within AMDAR reports, in accordance with new WMO regulations effective 5/3/2000
  • enabled decoding of reporting station identifier (new interface mnemonic RSID) within PIREP reports
  • recognized additional turbulence abbreviations and formats within AIREP reports
  

Version 1.4 Changes

  • allowed single-digit temperatures within AIREP reports and use airline-specific turbulence tables for reports from Northwest and Japan Air Lines
  • changed source code to reflect changes in underlying NAWIPS software.
  

Version 1.5 Changes

  • fixed a bug which occasionally produced a negative string reference
  • cleaned up several subroutines to enhance portability
  • changed source code to reflect changes in underlying NAWIPS software.
  

Version 1.6 Changes

  • removed obsolete call to uerror from dcacft.c
  • replaced calls to AF_BKGP with UT_BKGP in numerous subroutines.
  

Version 1.7 Changes

  • removed obsolete subroutine afriht.f
  • replaced cicli with cborg in several subroutines
  • in afdrco.f, fixed bugs in decoding of temperatures and dew points < -50 deg C and fixed bug in decoding of altitudes at or above 10000 meters
  • updated the PIREP navaid table
  

Version 1.8 Changes

  • modified to allow blanks within PIREP icing and turbulence ranges
  • updated the PIREP navaid table
