NCO Production Management Branch

During June-July 2010, the Environmental Modeling Center and the NCEP Central Operations conducted a project to define the version numbering standards for all models and libraries in use on the Central Computing System. This project resulted in a standards document which defines the numbering scheme for all operational software units. The document also identifies all of the software units with their current version numbers and the next planned version numbers.
