DBNet Supported Operating Systems
DBNet has been installed and tested on many platforms. The two main requirements
for DBNet are:
- Perl Version 5.002 or greater. with POSIX 1002.1 support.
- ONC RPC support, in particular the rpcgen program.
DBNet also uses several Unix system calls ( like fork ) that may not be available
on non-Unix platforms.
Tested and Approved Operating Systems:
- Linux 2.x
- Solaris 2.4, 2.5*
- SunOS 4.x *
- HP-UX 9.x, 10.x
- Unicos 8, 9
- AIX 3.5, 4.1
- IRIX 5.3,6.x
