Daily Level-2B and Level-3 products are now available from the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC), beginning with dates from 18 February 2004. These derived geophysical AMSR-E products include measurements of: -land: soil moisture, land surface temperature, vegetation water content. -oceans: sea surface temperature, near-surface wind speed, columnar water vapor, and columnar cloud liquid water. -rainfall: rate, type, and accumulation. -snow: snow water equivalent. -sea ice: sea ice concentration, snow depth over sea ice, and ice surface temperature. 5-day, weekly, and monthly products will be available soon (3 March, 7 March, and 9 April, respectively). For more information and instructions for ordering these and other AMSR-E data products, including the Level-1A raw observation counts and Level-2A brightness temperatures, please visit the following web site: http://nsidc.org/data/amsr/ NSIDC also distributes AMSR-E validation data. See "http://nsidc.org/data/amsr_validation" for more details. If you have any questions, please contact NSIDC User Services.
